We are progressing with our online portfolio for the subject "Resources in Education and ICT" at the University of Murcia!

"Hello! I am Pilar and this week I am performing the role of the journalist. "

have created an activity called “Exploring my little world: my family and my town ”. An activity about creating a blog in which the students can share their favorite place in their city, write a description or share a family tradition by making a video. The key competences we have worked with when performing this activity are: cultural awareness and expression, social and civic competences, communication in the mother tongue and communication in foreign languages. When realizing the activity three of us made a description of their favorite place in town (Charlotte, Ángela and Bea) and the rest of us made a video telling a family tradition (Cristina, Eda and Pilar). Once the activity was made, we answered the questions he had to and created our PechaKucha presentation.

About the blog´s recommendation, I recommend you the blog tech-ers from my colleagues as I have found it pretty interesting, I love the name of their blog! It is very well organized, and you can see very clear ideas. Another recommendation for you to read is the blog edutopia. Edutopia has plenty of well-indexed information on how technology can be used in classrooms. Since information is filed by age group and topic, teachers can easily get practical ideas that are relevant to their current curriculum.

To sum up, I would say that this activity has been carried out in a very good way, we are able to work well as a team.
