#WEEK 4/ Stars/ "Exploring tasks with Digitals for Primary School Children."

"Hello, we are Cristina and Pilar and for this week we were tasked with the role of stars."

#STAR 1: CRISTINA'S REFLECTION ABOUT THE ROLE.

For the Star role in week four, two members were required to play the same role. Being chosen Pilar and I, we made the presentation of the artifact, which consisted of a Pecha Kucha on the analysis of an activity aimed at Primary with technologies. When this new format was presented to us, we had to investigate better in the conditions that were needed to be able to do it correctly. In itself, each slide had to contain the minimum information, since it had to happen to twenty seconds. According to the conclusions we reached, we think that this type of format helps to express in a concise and clean way the ideas that we are trying to convey. Of course, it was the main obstacle when preparing the presentation to expose it. When it came to getting ready, there was always some change in the last second.

Between the two spokespersons, we decided to divide the information, choosing one of the first ten slides; and the second, the rest. This seemed to be a better idea as there were no interruptions in our discussions, allowing us more time to further develop our points. From that moment, we began to develop each one their script and comment on things that did not convince us. Thus, we only had to practice how to coordinate when projecting our Pecha Kucha, deciding on Canvas to present it. However, he did give some flaws when it came to the truth, something we should write down for the next time.

When our turn to exhibit came in, we tried to deliver our messages on time. Pilar did it wonderfully, using a rhythm that allowed him to explain all of her points. However, for me it was complicated because on most occasions it fell short and I had to advance by explaining the following. We also noticed some glitches in the program, as I mentioned. In the end, our teacher gave us feedback on things to take into account in our presentation, such as the way the content was presented.

So, after recounting everything, I would like to give my reflection on how I performed in this role. I think I should improve when it comes to organizing my ideas and then transmitting them in a clear way. That became very noticeable in my somewhat lengthy explanations at times, which I had to say quickly to give me time. Other points to take into account would be my expression and the rhythm when speaking. If I had prepared it with more time, perhaps it would have been better. I was able to make some notes, to look at them as a complement to my explanation.

So in conclusion, we can always improve and take these small failures as an experience to take into account for the future.

#STAR 2: PILAR'S REFLECTION ABOUT THE ROLE.

This week I also was performing the role of star with Cristina. In order to develop this role correctly, once we had finished the presentation Cristina and I had several online meetings to memorize the information we wanted to say in our presentation during our speech. As the Pecha kucha presentation required 20 seconds per slide, we practiced until we could say the essential information in that period of time.
